Will it fit my faucet?

It fits standard threaded faucets. It does not fit pull-down or pull-out sprayer faucets, and it will not fit most commercial-style fixtures. Look under your spout for a threaded aerator before ordering — if the hose pulls out, this is not the filter for that sink.

Does it slow the water down?

Yes, noticeably — the water is being pushed through a carbon block rather than falling out of an open pipe. That is why the bypass switch exists: filter the water you drink, run everything else unfiltered at full pressure.

How does it compare with a pitcher?
