Is the short handle a problem?
It is the most common complaint. The 34C is a compact razor, and people with larger hands often prefer a longer-handled model. Grip it lower and let the head weight lead, or choose a long-handle version.
How do I care for it?
Rinse it, shake it dry, and leave it out of standing water. Take the head apart every few weeks and clear the soap scum. Chrome-plated brass asks for nothing else.
Will it last as long as people claim?
There is no mechanism to fail and nothing consumable but the blade. Barring being dropped onto a tile floor, this is a buy-once object — which is the strongest environmental argument any product on this site can make.
